Support¶
Something not working, or an idea? Ask in the public thread on Blender Artists: QuadGuide: Quad Remesher where you draw the edge loops. Answers there help everyone who hits the same thing. For anything private (an order, a mesh you cannot share in public), write to support@quadgui.de.
What helps us help you¶
- What you did and what you expected, in a sentence or two.
- The report: press Report a Problem in the Help section of the panel (or in the add-on's preferences). It saves a zip with the last run's log and settings, your Blender and system versions, your mesh and your guides, opens the folder, and starts a mail to us. Attach the zip to the mail. Your mesh is in the zip, so decide before you send it. See Reporting a problem.
- A screenshot, if it is about how something looks.
Look at Troubleshooting first: the usual causes are there.
Updates¶
QuadGuide checks once a day whether a newer version exists, and shows a note at the top of its panel when one does. It reads a single public file, quadgui.de/version.json, and sends nothing about you or your scene. It never downloads or installs anything: you get the new version from the shop where you bought QuadGuide.
To switch the check off, untick Check for Updates in the add-on's preferences. Check Now there looks right away. What changed is in the Changelog.
What this site records¶
quadgui.de sets no cookies and runs no scripts. The web server keeps an ordinary access log (address, page, time, browser, referring page), which we only count: visits per day and which pages are read. The daily update check above shows up there too, as a number of installs. We delete the log after 30 days.
